Er update much?

Sheesh, I wrote the previous post 3 years ago?

I'm enjoying the married life, and looking forward to starting our 5th year of marriage. I seriously have the best wife I could have ever imagined. No kids yet, but hopefully soon.
As I write this, she's in Kenya for two weeks for a missions trip, but will be home in a few days, and I am happy about that.

I work for Liferay, I'm the Director of UI Engineering, and I rarely do art, though when I get to, I rather enjoy it.

Don't really follow much on DevArt anymore, as my tastes are much more UI and code related, and less "art for arts sake". I have to say, what I do fits me to the tee. I always hoped there'd be a job where I could express my love of creating things, my love of design and aesthetics and my love of algebra and logic puzzles all in one place, and I have it.

I'm turning into a man with less and less to say, so I shall end it here...

I found out today is "Womens Rights Day", and my little brothers actually got the day off from school for it. Note to people: If your little group or organization, or whatever decides to trump yourselves up, expect backlash. Black history month doesnt enlighten whites about black history, it makes whites more bitter towards blacks. Same with womens rights day. Men get pissed off, because that kinda statement implies that women dont have rights, which implies men are sexist a**holes who keep women down. Just so you know, your little days, months, organizations, whatever, dont encourage acceptance and integration. It inspires the absolute opposite. Enough from me.
